COROMANT CAPTO® TOOLHOLDING

Sandvik Coromant Capto® is the first universal quick-change tooling system suitable for turning, milling, boring and drilling. Combining Coromant Capto® toolholders with CNC machines shortens set-up times and increases your productivity.

Coromant Capto® toolholders offer exceptional repeatability to +/- 2 microns (+/-0.0001 inch), allowing tools to be pre-measured away from the machine. Their strong coupling means high metal removal rates and units are lightweight and easy to handle.

Chevin Tools offer the full range of coupling sizes – C3, C4, C5, C6 & C8, and produce holders for the major machine tool suppliers along with special solutions to suit other machines. The main machines for which we produce Coromant Capto® toolholders are:
