FIXTURING DESIGN PROCESS
From an initial enquiry, Chevin Tools can project manage every stage of the fixturing design, manufacture, delivery and installation.
| Assessment of customer requirements A single point of contact will be established with our fixturing design department, who will determine your exact requirements & budgets. Different methods will be discussed, such as manual or hydraulic clamping, to give the best solution to the workholding problem. Time, resource and budget limits are taken into account and the saving and advantages a Chevin fixture will provide are demonstrated. During this process site visits can be arranged where appropriate. |

These are created using our in-house 3D design studios and can show every stage of the fixturing process, including clamping processes and cutting tool access. The sketches are used to create a full quotation & delivery schedule. |
