Chevin Tools offer a complete design and manufacture service to produce special fixturing to suit any component during any stage of manufacture or inspection. A Chevin designed fixture can significantly improve the productivity of your machines in the following ways:
- Set-up times are reduced through use of purpose built part location and quick release clamping.
- Parts are mounted to allow maximum access, reducing the number of machining operations
- Rigidity is increased allowing faster machining and improved accuracy.
- Multiple parts or part types can be loaded on to one fixture, reducing batch production time.
- Either hydraulic or manual clamping can be used, which ever is most suitable to the individual application.
