Chevin has appointed Tim Thorburn as vice-president.
Thorburn joins initially on a five-year secondment from Craftsman Tools, the UK-based parent company of Chevin, which was set up in 1999 as a sales office for the North American market.
Chevin Tools president Robert Johnson, said: “Tim joined the company five years ago where he marketed our products across both Europe and the USA. He also run the Tool Holders production cell. “Towards the end of last year we undertook a strategic review of the whole of the business, and one aspect which came out of it was that we needed to be more efficient with our marketing. “Tim was spending a lot of his time travelling, so for him to be permanently based in the States make complete sense.”
